Joseph English

Joseph English is a petroleum geoscientist with 15+ years of oil and gas experience in Europe, Africa, North America and the Middle East.

He is the former Chief Geologist of Petroceltic International, and prior to that he worked on various exploration projects with Nexen and EnCana.

Joseph English received a Bachelor of Arts in Geology from Trinity College in Dublin, Ireland, and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Physics from The Open University in the United Kingdom. He is also a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Geology from the University of Victoria in Canada. He is a chartered geologist under the Geological Society of London, and a two-time recipient of AAPG’s Cam Sproule Memorial Award.
